The coaching team at CrossFit Newmarket Central is made up of highly skilled, knowledgeable professionals who are passionate about guiding members toward success. With a mix of CrossFit Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 certifications, kinesiology backgrounds, and years of coaching experience, our trainers ensure that every workout is safe, effective, and challenging. Jen Bladon
BSc. PT, FCAMPT, CIDN
Completed her Physiotherapy degree from the University of Toronto in 1998. Advanced qualifications include a Diploma in Manipulative Therapy, (FCAMPT), 300hr Yoga Teacher training, TRX certification, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, as well as Precision Nutrition 1. These areas of study allow Jen to provide comprehensive care, from an overall health and fitness perspective. Jen is rostered with The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to perform spinal manipulation, dry needling/acupuncture, and pelvic floor physiotherapy. Specials interests include women’s health through the lifespan (including pre and post natal, menopausal health), child and adolescent prehab and rehab, arthritic conditions, and hypermobility syndromes. Jen also has a special interest in shoulder specific conditions, with experience working in an Advanced Practitioner role with Dr. John Randle, an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulders at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
Jen’s approach utilizes the full scope of physiotherapy, while advocating for and helping her patients to access any further medial and health care professionals in our community.
Vera Willemse
BSc. PT, MSc. Manual Therapy
Completed her Physiotherapy degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Breda (The Netherlands) in 2013, Physiotherapist. Advance qualifications include a Master of Science in Manual Therapy (SOMT), CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, as well as Dry Needling of the extremities and the spine. Vera is rostered with The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario to perform spinal manipulation and dry needling/acupuncture.
Emily Carr
Dr. Emily Carr’s primary goal is to help her patents get back to moving and stay moving.
She completed her undergrad with Honours in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Emily aims to help her patients achieve their goals by managing pain, building self-efficacy, and fostering resilience. Dr. Carr isn’t only an expert in spinal health but is knowledgeable when it comes to all joints and muscles in the body! She incorporates a variety of manual therapy techniques into her treatment plans, such as manipulations, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, integrated needling/acupuncture and MRT.
When Emily isn’t treating patients, you’ll find her in a CrossFit class, running by Lake Simcoe or tending to her house plants.

Cameron Bray
Cameron is a Registered Massage Therapist, having graduated with Honours from Humber College’s accredited Massage Therapy program. Cameron has been a member of the CrossFit community for 5 years, and with this, she is familiar with the needs of the community from a rehabilitative perspective. Cameron practices a wide variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue, pre/postnatal massage, PNF stretching, joint mobilizations, and hydrotherapy.
Cameron has her cupping certification in both sliding and static techniques, and is a certified Kinesiology Taping practitioner. Cameron believes in helping patients achieve their treatment goals through manual techniques and ongoing remedial exercise prescriptions. Her primary goal for her patients is to have their physical pain and dysfunction properly addressed and treated so they can be back to feeling 100%.
Jonathan Wiseman
Jon is a Physiotherapist with over five years of experience in orthopaedics. He blends hands-on techniques with targeted exercise programming to help people move better, feel stronger, and get back to the activities they love!
He completed his Master of Physical Therapy at Western University after earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University, where he also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with varsity athletes. Jon brings a diverse background in rehabilitation and sports performance, including two years as a Registered Massage Therapist and personal trainer.
Jon takes a patient-centred approach, integrating each client’s goals, values, and lifestyle into a tailored treatment plan. He works with individuals of all ages and has advanced training in: sports injuries, concussion care, shoulder rehabilitation, and arthritis management.
Outside the clinic, he’s passionate about fitness—he loves lifting, running, and is currently obsessed with squash!
Dr. Morgan McWatters
Dr. Morgan is a naturopathic doctor with a passion for helping patients optimize their health, performance, and resilience. She completed a BSc in Kinesiology at Western University, followed by her Doctorate of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. During her clinical internship, Dr. Morgan was selected for the Sports Medicine and Pain Management Focus Shift, where she gained advanced experience supporting athletes and individuals recovering from injury or chronic pain.
Her clinical interests include sports performance and nutrition, stress management, fatigue, hormonal health, and chronic disease prevention. Combining her background in kinesiology and naturopathic medicine, Dr. Morgan takes a personalized, evidence-informed approach to help her patients move, feel, and perform their best.
Some of her favourite tools to use in practice include bloodwork, acupuncture, nutrition and lifestyle counselling, supplements, and herbal medicine.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Morgan is also a CrossFit coach, where she enjoys empowering people to build strength, confidence, and community through movement.
Julia Chotowetz
Julia Chotowetz is a Registered Massage Therapist with over 25 years of experience helping people move better, recover faster, and stay in the game. Her passion for rehab and prehab comes from living an active life herself. Julia has competed in CrossFit competitions, taken on a variety of endurance events, and played competitive hockey for most of her life. She now brings that same commitment and leadership to the rink as a dedicated coach with her daughter’s team. Julia’s treatments are personalized, intuitive, and designed to enhance recovery, movement, and performance. While relaxation is a core strength, her approach goes beyond the table to support your long-term health and mobility goals.
Dr. Paul Prsala
Dr. Paul is passionate about optimizing health and performance and helping patients return to activities they enjoy. He believes in evidence-based medicine and treating patients holistically, according to their personal goals and preferences. Dr. Paul is an expert on the musculoskeletal and nervous systems and treats a large variety of conditions through chiropractic adjustments, mobilizations and acupuncture.
Dr. Paul has been practicing since 2019 and is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and is a certified acupuncture provider through the McMaster program.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor Dr. Paul served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 2002-2018 in various roles including teaching Basic Training. He was introduced to CrossFit in 2008 and was a competitive athlete for many years, including participating in the Open and attended Regionals in 2011 with the CrossFit Zone Team.
In his free time, Dr. Paul is happiest doing anything active. He is a new father to a healthy, happy boy named Atlas. He also enjoys spending family time with his loving wife, Laura, and Wheaten Terrier, Harry. He loves spending weekends at the cottage and connecting with the communities of Newmarket and Aurora.
