1. The Great Squat
Every mom knows a thing or two about squatting! We won’t question why squashy toys seem impossible to keep off the floor, but we can certainly turn it into an exercise opportunity! Every time you bend down to pick up that tiny race car or kitchen utensil, make it a full squat. Keep your back flat and go as low as you can while keeping your feet flat on the floor. Come back up to a fully upright standing position. Just 10 of these a day can do wonders for your strength and flexibility.
2. Stair Master at Home
Got stairs at home? You have your own built-in fitness equipment! Walk or jog up and down the stairs for a quick and effective cardio workout. You can do this anytime – while the kids are napping, between tasks, or even as a fun race with your toddlers!
3. Stretch and Reach
Stretching is often underrated, but it’s an excellent way to keep your muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. Every morning, do a slow and controlled reach for the sky and then down to your toes. Repeat a few times and feel your body waking up with every reach!
Remember, the key to fitness is consistency. You don’t need to spend hours at the gym. You just need to make the most of the time you have. These simple exercises can be done at home and can easily fit into your daily routine.
