Warm-ups and Cool-downs: Don’t Skip ‘Em!

Just like a car that needs to warm up on a cold morning, our bodies need time to prepare for a workout. A good 5-10 minutes of warm-up can make a world of difference! Cool-downs are also critical to help your body gradually return to its normal state.

When working out–especially with weights–form is critical. Incorrect form can put undue pressure on certain muscles and joints leading to potential injuries. Get proper instructions and guidance from a coach. Good form not only prevents injuries but ensures you get the most out of your workouts!
